A Class Act
We started performing together in High School in Detroit, Michigan in 1978. We've been making music and memories for thousands since.
Arlette: "I began singing at the the age of 3. In high school I was trained in voice under the late Brazeal Dennard and Gloria Hicks at Detroit's Northwestern High School." Her instruction augments her naturally gifted singing. People are moved when she sings as she can command a room with her amazing vocal quality.
She has a beautiful clear soprano voice and to her credit has won many hearts as well as vocal competitions in Michigan.
Mark: "I am a self-taught, accomplished pianist in my own right. I have drawn the attention of several recording artists including D'Angelo. I engage and entertain the audience and listeners and sometimes aisles get converted into improvised dance floors."
Mark has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, The Contours; invited to collaborate with Gospel Jazz Pianist Ben Tankard. I have worked in the studio with Motown's Thomas "Beans" Bowles (who composed Fingertips Pt 2) and Earl Van Dyke (of the Motown Review). I've been a featured soloist on harmonica at the Apollo Theater in New York.
Together, Mark and Arlette have opened for Yolanda Adams, performed for Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, traveled across America, with invitations to Japan and to tour Russia.
We now perform in the Greater Tucson Arizona area at local venues and resorts. Have keyboard will travel!
